Mike Hansom

Mike has specialised in property disputes since qualifying as a solicitor in 2005. He trained at a well regarded south east London firm, then practised in firms in the south west, becoming a partner in 2018. He joined Guillaumes in 2022 and heads our property disputes department.

Mike acts for landlords, management companies and RTM companies of residential properties all
around the country, including in Prime Central London. He deals with disputes concerning breaches of leasehold covenants, service charges, management company matters, leasehold enfranchisement
and statutory lease extensions.

In addition he deals with commercial landlord and tenant disputes, including lease renewals, breach of lease and dilapidations matters.

Mike is also an experienced lawyer when it comes to freehold property disputes, regarding problems with rights of way, freehold covenants, and the position of the legal boundary.
